The Red Ribbon Club of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Govt. Degree College Dharampur is committed to creating awareness among youth about HIV/AIDS, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and encouraging voluntary blood donation. Functioning actively within the college, the club serves as a platform for students to gain knowledge about HIV transmission, its prevention, and the importance of eliminating stigma and discrimination associated with the disease. A major objective of the club is to motivate and mobilise students for voluntary blood donation, thereby contributing to the availability of safe blood in the region. Through peer education and student-led activities, the Red Ribbon Club extends its outreach beyond the campus, impacting the surrounding community. The club also actively participates in campaigns related to tuberculosis (TB) awareness, anti-drug initiatives, and the promotion of health and hygiene, making it a vital part of the college's health education efforts.
